Kristie’s MOS was a medic in the Army National Guard. In the private sector she was employed as a Paramedic for Clifton Park Half Moon Emergency Corp.. She attended S.U.N.Y. Cobleskill while working full time and was recognized on the Dean’s List for the college. She was a volunteer with Broadalbin Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Kristie was credited with implementing Broadalbin Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Advance Life Support program as well as their junior squad. From early on Kristie looked out for the needs of others primarily the elderly, the very young and our Veterans. She struggled but reached weight requirements to join the Guard. She took great pride in caring for her fellow military as they readied for deployment. In addition to survivor’s guilt she had her share of heartbreak witnessing trauma that leaves scars and demons to EMS, police, firefighters, our military and civilians alike.
